I am vehemently anti-valentines day. Restaurants set up in tables for two. Ads for those ringtones with cute fluffy bears or dogs singing like Alvin and the Chipmunks. Anything shaped like a heart. Vuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh-omit. I'd like to add Back off Bitch and You Ain't The First by Guns n' Roses to the list. Only because I once sent them to a girl on a tape by means of break up. Relax, she deserved it.

i feel a little stuck in the middle guys.. i am recently married and till floating on my silver lined cloud. so i love valentines day for the fact that its a little reminder for us all to say 'i love you'. BUT i do hate the fact that flowers cost more and just about every commercial aspect of this material life clings onto this day and squeezes as much dollar out as possible. just saying "i love you" is kinder to your wallet and buying those flowers next week will get you sooo much more. oh and by the way, to all those at lifelounge, i love you and your work.

I am always determined to hate it and denounce Valentine's as capitalist codswollop and then I end up with a wrinkled nose and running mascara when a women at work receives roses from her husband and I am left like a blue turd in the wind.
