A self-taught photographer, Boogie has an ability to create aesthetically perfect, but still somewhat investigative and everyday pictures. He apparently has such a large collection of images that he has never actually seen it in its entirety.

Boogie's photographs have been exhibited at Paris Photo, L’Eclaireur Tokyo, used in Nike campaigns, and featured in magazines, all the while reaching diverse audiences and winning fans. Quite a child of the world, Boogie was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where he witnessed the civil war there in the 1990s, armed with his camera. He later moved to Brooklyn and began hanging out in New York's most dangerous and notorious neighborhoods; photographing gangsters, junkies, crackheads, and other people who seem to exist only on the fringes of society. These photos have become the collection of images in his first book It's All Good (published last year) and apparently strongly influenced Jay-Z's '99 Problems' video.

A self-taught photographer, Boogie has an ability to create aesthetically perfect, but still somewhat investigative and everyday pictures. He apparently has such a large collection of images that he has never actually seen it in its entirety. He continues traveling the world (South and Central America, Asia, Europe) constantly adding to his amazing archive.

Respect Mikolai
This deserves a bump. Boogie brought out a new book earlier this year - Belgrade Belongs to Me.
